Exhibition displays can be a good indicator of the efficiency and quality of your product, and the scope of your resources, as well as indicating a coherent and intelligible business strategy. By looking at your exhibition display, visitors should be able to tell from the outset what products your company offers, and whether they have an interest in the product in question. Beyond this, display stands should draw the customer in and indicate reasons why they should take an interest in your products. An open counter with warm inviting lights and a few promotional gifts strewn about and a friendly face is a good start. Chairs and tea or coffee facilities may be also inviting, although how long you wish to speak to each enquirer does depend on the value of the product on offer! You may feel the need for a leaflets dispenser so as not to clutter your exhibition counter.

A large image on your display stand is always helpful in bringing the message home, along with your corporate logo. Imagery is something you should probably seek professional advice with, and it may well be that the business which provides your display stand or display panels may be able to help with the graphic design you require to promote your image properly.

You should think whether you require and of the following:

exhibition display panels, showcases, counters, lights, or specialist lighting or visual systems, carry cases, pop-ups, leaflets, business cards, leaflet dispensers, exhibition stands, shell schemes, conference sets, corporate gifts, display panels, graphics production, background music, PA hire equipment

Chairs, pens, notepaper,tea and coffee are the non-specialist essentials!

Many of these items can be obtained second hand if you know the right sources - some "second hand" display equipment is virtually new, and there are often discounts available on end-of-line goods etc which is all worth considering for a first time buyer.

About two months is the minimum time you should leave in which to prepare for your first exhibition display, to give you enough time to focus business strategy and to represent your products most clearly - otherwise you may find you are promoting too generally, and visitors will not get a clear idea of what you wish to convey.
